Typical Sonochemical Setup showing vessel in
ten-gallon aquarium with ice as cooling medium. Vessel is mounted horizontally
in tank with solution under test available through slot opening
in vessel. There is a big black block behind the
vessel, to hold it in position. For contrast, the solution under treatment is red.

Externally Mounted Vessel, for running solution under test
at elevated temperatures. This accessory consists of a small cooling-water
tank with one end made of ½ inch thick aluminum plate. This
plate is drilled and tapped to allow transducer to be mounted internal
to tank and vessel to be mounted external to tank, with thin plastic acoustic
window in between. Shown with ice as cooling medium.

Extension Tube which holds treatment vessel on one end and transducer
on the other. In between is thin plastic acoustic
window which allows transducer to be surrounded by cooling water without
mixing with solution under test.

Long Treatment Vessel, a 30 inch
long by 3 inch inside diameter vessel which has 3/8 Tygon couplings on
either end for flowing solution under test. This tube accomodates
346 standing wave nulls along its length,
which retain hundreds of thousands of cavitation bubbles.

Waterfall Tank, useful for external
gas sparging of solution under test or for cooling of solution
under test. Ultrasonic Energy Systems does not supply this accessory,
as it is easily made from sheet glass bonded together
by silicon rubber cement. It is shown for reference purposes only.
